This Saturday, Kyetume Football Club and Kansai Plascon will battle it out for the final qualification slot to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Kyetume eliminated Dove while UPDF FC ejected Kansai Plascon with both semifinal games decided in a penalty shoot-out on Thursday afternoon.
Dove and Kyetume played first and left nothing to spare as both sides were eyeing the top flight spot.
Kyetume took the lead in the 40th minute thanks to Wahabu Lwanga’s own goal and Kyetume held onto that lead right into the mandatory half time break.
Dove got off the mark with an equalizer in the 54th minute through Ronald Kamanya.
Ali Ngongo restored Kyetume’s lead in the 76th minute which was later canceled out by Hussien Ndugwa (Doves’ goalkeeper) who converted a spot kick. Emmanuel (Kyetume’s goalkeeper) conceded the penalty.
The game ended in a 2-2 draw and went straight into penalties.

Kyetume FC edged Dove FC 3-2 on penalties to make the StarTimes FUFA Big League play-off final against Kansai Plascon who beat UPDF FC 5-4 on penalties.
