The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) will extend medical insurance to all Startimes Uganda Premier League players.
This was confirmed by the Federation President Moses Magogo in his end of year address at the FUFA house in Mengo.
Ahead of the Startimes Uganda Premier League second round that kicks off next month, FUFA president Moses Magogo has confirmed that all licensed players will get medical insurance cover from AAR.
FIFA licensed referees will also benefit from this development according to the FUFA boss.
Magogo, who returned to office early this month following the suspension by the international governing body FIFA over mishandling of 2014 world cup tickets, also highlighted the status of his case.
He also branded 2019 a successful year due to several accomplishments; The recent one being winning the CECAFA senior challenge and the inaugural CECAFA U-17 Women Championships, promising more achievements in 2020.
As the year 2019 ends, Uganda football has a lot to celebrate, having qualified for the CHAN 2020 finals for a fifth consecutive time, hosted and won the CECAFA senior challenge cup and U-17 Women Championships and currently tops their group in AFCON 2021 qualifiers table with four points.
