The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) conducted its first security workshop, where the sixteen top-flight clubs were skilled with ways of improving the fight against hooliganism in the beautiful sport.
FIFA and CAF security experts Dickson Okello, Humphrey Mandu, and Hajji Abdul Lukooya have for the past two days been skilling club representatives with stadium security skills as a way of fighting hooliganism on matchdays.
The workshop will climax on Thursday.
Meanwhile, hooliganism is not the only threat to football lately. Outside Uganda, the coronavirus continues to affect the beautiful game and other sports.
