FUFA president Moses Magogo has fulfilled his KCCA FC pledge and also settled the CECAFA winning bonus arrears.
Last year in July on the eve of the CECAFA Kagame Club championship, FUFA president Moses Magogo visited the KCCA FC camp in Kigali, Rwanda, and promised each KCCA FC player 1000USD as winning bonus if they won the CECAFA Kagame Cup.
One could say the winning bonus motivated the KCCA FC team to fight so hard and win the CECAFA Kagame Cup after beating Azam FC in the final thanks to Mustafa Kizzz’s goal.
FUFA has also paid a winning bonus of 1500USD per player who took part in the 2019 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup that was held at the Startimes stadium in Lugogo.
FUFA communications manager, Ahmed Hussein, confirms that the KCCA FC players and national team players that took part in the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup are cleared and also adds that the CHAN team, U17 boys team, beach soccer team, and U17 girls team that won the CECAFA U17 girls title will also be cleared.
