Four top performers from the week were on Friday awarded by MTN Uganda’s Regional Marketing Coordinator, Jimmy Ssempuuma, in a brief function conducted by Next Media Services’ Public relations officer, Desire Dreckford Mugumisa, live on Sanyuka TV.
Semugenyi Patrick was crowned the winner of the opening week after accumulating 47 points to walk home with the Shs400,000 winners prize.
Nsubuga Tanansi was second with 39 points to win Shs300,000 while Brian Andonios Mayemba with 38 points came third to pocket Shs200,000. Joseph Olinga in fourth with 36 points won Shs100,000.
The winners expressed delight after receiving their prize money directly on their MTN mobile money accounts.
They hailed Sanyuka TV and MTN for the exciting and educative quiz initiative. “The game is very interesting and am happy for being the inaugural winner, thanks to God.” Said Semugenyi.

Hosted by Sanyuka TV’s Kaddu Martin and Grace Lindsay Mbabazi, ‘Samba-Samba Ne MTN’ is a sports game show that commenced on Wednesday and will run for four weeks. Participants are asked questions to test their knowledge about Uganda football.
The competition is sponsored by the biggest supporters of Ugandan football, MTN, who also bring you the StarTimes Uganda premier league at on home of sport Sanyuka TV.
To take part, one has to SMS the word ‘Samba’ to 8008.
The exciting quiz competition resumes next Wednesday with a lot more prizes at stake.
