KCCA Football Club sign journeyman Juma Balinya from Kenya’s Gor Mahia

Journeyman Juma Balinya has continued on his trek after the 2018/19 StarTimes Uganda premier top scorer was unveiled by 13-time Uganda premier league champions KCCA FC on their weekly show on Sanyuka Television.

Balinya who last featured for Kenyan giants Gor Mahia penned a three-year contract with the Lugogo based side to add to Mike Mutebi’s attacking force.

Balinya’s football journey has been stained with financial woes from clubs. The former Police FC player left Tanzania’s giants Yanga FC after only six months into his contract because of unpaid salary arrears.

He joined Kenya’ giants Gor Mahia in January 2020 on a two-year deal but left in August after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract due to financial issues at the club.

He netted two goals at each of his last two homes.

The forward becomes the club’s eighth signing joining Ashraf Mugume, Brian Aheebwa, Charles Lwanga, Stefano Mazengo Loro, Denis Iguma, Bright Anukani, and Samson Kigozi.
