Muzamir Mutyaba officially departs KCCA FC after five trophy-filled years

In June 2020, midfielder Muzamiru Mutyba revealed his love for KCCA Football Club, asserting that he will always remember them even when he departs the club.

“KCCA is at my heart even if I leave. The fans, players, coaches, and the success I have achieved in the years I have been here can never be substituted for anything.” Muzamiru Mutyaba was quoted saying.

On Wednesday 9th, September 2020, the former StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions announced the departure of Muzamiru Mutyaba, their longest-serving member on the squad.

Mutyaba has won multiple league titles, Uganda Cup trophies, not forgetting the 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup during his Five-year stay with the Lugogo-based giant.

In the 2019/20 season, the industrious midfielder scored three goals and managed one assist as the 13-time champions finished second in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Muzamiru joins the growing list of first-team players who have parted ways with Mike Mutebi’s side others being Sadam Juma, Erisa Ssekisambu, and Jackson Nunda, who have left KCCA FC ahead of the 2020/21 league season.
