DONE DEAL: UPDF seal the signing of Bernard Muwanga

UPDF FC have finally sealed the signature of defender Bernard Muwanga. The proven defender has put pen to paper on a one-year contract and the head coach Kefa Kisala says that the club captured the only fish they wanted and they are now out of the market.

“The club needed the experience of Muwanga in our defense and we had to work hard to have him before the league resumes and since we finally got him, our business in this transfer window is done,” Kefa told this website.

Muwanga is a former Bright Stars skipper and he also played for KCCA FC who loaned him for seven months to Proline FC. He rejoined Bright Stars fc in January 2020.

He was key in ensuring that his childhood club Bright Stars fc is promoted to the 2013 Uganda premier league in addition to leading Uganda to CHAN 2018.

The StarTimes Uganda Premier League resumes on Saturday 6th February 2021 as defending champions Vipers SC take on new league entrants MYDA FC.
