Mbarara city Football have intensified their quest to strengthen their squad.
Fresh from launching bids for goalies Ivan Mutumba (free agent) and Gitta Musa (Wembley FC), the Ankole Lions have now entered into discussions with Synergy Football Club’s forward Igga Frank.
According to the head coach Brian Ssenyondo, the team needs to re-sharpen its striking line that looked blunt since the departure of Brian Aheebwa who crossed to KCCA Football Club.
“We are not working well in the final third and we have opened up talks with Synergy FC about their striker Igga Frank,” Ssenyondo told this website.
The Ankole Lions have struggled for goals since the start of the season managing a paltry five goals in as many games in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League with no victory yet.
