Sanyuka TV is thrilled with its latest addition to its quality programming for every Ugandan, a drama series, Gunsinze which is a gripping tale of love, duty, and family conflict. With the tagline “Bound by love, torn by duty,” this series promises to captivate audiences with its intricate plot and compelling characters.

This new drama series is another addition to Sanyuka TV’s exciting lineup of Ugandan content and is being produced by Vibe Films a Ugandan Production house. Gunsinze follows the story of Kate played by Daisy Nakatya, a small-town girl driven by hope for a better life, who is ironically persuaded by her barren sister, Nanseera played by Saluwa Kasule, to carry a pregnancy on her behalf. This arrangement ultimately leads Kate to fall in love with her sister’s husband, Ezraplayed by Moses Ssebunya, setting off a lifetime of clashing with Nanseera.

Gunsinze explores themes of familial duty, love, and betrayal, painting a vivid picture of the lengths one might go to secure their dreams and the unintended consequences that can arise. The series delves into sensitive issues such as early marriages, school dropouts, mental health, cyberbullying, academic pressure, drug addiction, family dynamics, sexual orientation, and technology addiction, making it a relevant and thought-provoking addition to Sanyuka TV’s lineup.
