Children who grow up without fathers become delinquents – Pastor Ssempa

Renowned Pastor, Martin Ssempa has said children who grow up without fathers become delinquents and urged African parents to give more time to their children and try as much as possible to avoid ‘the modern-day growing vice’ of single parenting.

Ssempa, famous for fighting against homosexuality, while appearing on Sanyuka TV’s lifestyle show, She Talk on Sunday 2nd April 2023 went vocal on the roles of the two parents, mother, and father, in a family and how this impacts the children’s upbringing.

He says single mothers can’t raise kids appropriately and asserts that this is the biggest reason why black families are getting more broken.

“The number one reason why the black family has gotten broken more is that fathers are missing from the lives of their children. While single mothers believe they can raise children alone, the absence of a father makes the kids grow into delinquents,” Sempa said.

Ssampa believes children without fathers are ‘usually showered with lots of love’ and ‘no rules are applied to them’ to understand the other side of reality.

“Without a father, the kids are not governed appropriately and the constant showering of love from their mother makes it difficult for them to grow into responsible citizens of tomorrow,” he added.

Martin Ssempa is a Pastor, Anti-homosexuality Activist, and Founder of Makerere Community Church.

Vumbula Uganda Launches Sauce Of The Nile Festival.

As it marked the 3rd Anniversary in the events space, Vumbula Uganda; the fastest-growing events management company has launched another tourism event under its portfolio, dubbed — Sauce Of The Nile Festival.

The two days festival will be celebrating the source of the longest river in the world — the River Nile, with a blend of art, music and culture. Happening at Living Waters Resort, Jinja on 2nd-4th June 2023.

‘According to research, Egypt earns $16 Billion annually from their tourism sector and $5 Billion is attributed to the fact that many people visit Egypt just to explore the River Nile, and the country has a festival that highlights it. So, clearly Egypt markets and earns so much from River Nile than Uganda, which actually has the Source of the Nile, explaining why we came up with Sauce Of The Nile Festival’ — said Demo Riley, the CEO of Vumbula Uganda.

‘Besides Source Of the Nile, being one of the major tourist attractions in Uganda, we are calling it SAUCE (the cream or best quality of something) and not SOURCE (the beginning of something) because again, there’s no country with the quality of the Nile like Uganda. We (Uganda) have the best rafting opportunities, most powerful falls (Murchison Falls), tropics and the main source all on River Nile, and no other country does’ — he added.

About Vumbula Uganda

Vumbula Uganda sets out to unearth the uniqueness of the Pearl of Africa through premium event experiences.

The events company aims at building a strong community of people who share the same interests of celebrating Uganda’s beauty, art, music, and culture.

Chameleone fills Cricket Oval for his Gwanga Mujje Concert.

Jose Chameleone performing at Gwanga Mujje Concert

Musician Jose Chameleone, legally known as Joseph Mayanja, put up a memorable performance during his highly billed “Gwanga Mujje” concert that registered a big turn-up.

The concert which was held at Lugogo Cricket Oval, saw outgoers fill the venue to capacity as those who had not paid the entrance fees climbed the fence to watch Chameleone do what he does best.

Revellers graced the venue as early as midday and were treated to different music mixes by DJ Nimrod till around 9:20 pm as the show had no curtain raisers.

From that moment, Jose Chameleone kicked off his set with a couple of hit songs on live band that he executed pretty well and the sound had no glitches which indicated that he had enough time to rehearse his songs with the band. The backline band that did practice with Jose Chameleone did a great job on practising each of his songs to perfection.

He then took his fans down memory lane of his musical journey dating way back from the early 2000s to his current hit “Forever” in a marvellous style.

Chameleone’s “Gwanga Mujje” was near to perfect with Fenon events putting up a well-lit stage, good sound, and as expected Jose Chameleone put on an exhibition to remember as he iced the artistic set-up with good music and performance.

Midway through his performance, the Leone Island boss thanked his fans for turning up in large numbers. He went on to claim that he is a testimony of God’s blessing and existence.

He added that he should have now been dead but he is still alive because he still has a job to do and for that matter told his critics not to intimidate him.

“I am a testimony. I should b dead but I am alive, so don’t intimidate me. I am Joseph and you should let me live.”

Jose Chameleone

King Micheal, Weasel, Pallaso, Bebe Cool, Mudra, Zex Bilangilangi, Navio, Ziza Bafana, Ketchup, and Mesach Ssemakula as well performed.

Chameleone’s parents Mr Gerald Mayanja and Prossy Mayanja graced the show with much joy and amusement.

The singer expressed his joy upon seeing his dad at his concert saying it had been 10 years ever since he had last attended any of their concerts.

Bebe Cool also thanked revellers for showing them love, especially the big three (Bobi, Bebe, & Chameleone) despite always being involved in fights.

He also promised to always be there for Jose Chameleone whenever he needs his help and support in any situation of his life.

Mesach Semakula also recognized Chameleone as among Uganda’s greatest artistes saying his name needs to be respected for the significant contribution he has put to the arts industry.

The Gwanga Mujje legend concert was broadcasted live on Sanyuka Tv right away from Jose Chameleone’s preparations for the event to the very end moment of the show. The live broadcast of the event started at 9 PM till midnight when the rest of the event was streamed on Afro mobile.

Dr Jose Chameleone Releases ‘Gwanga Mujje’ Audio

Just two days after his concert was postponed, Jose Chameleone hit the studio and released a brand-new song titled ‘Gwanga Mujje’.

In his new song, the Leone Island boss sings about real and fake friends who smile yet hide negative intentions and bad minds deep inside them.

He also sings about his hustle and how far he has come and encourages people to keep working hard as hard work always pays.

The song produced by Baur at Mwoto Studios comes just two days since a huge disappointment which was celebrated by some of his former friends.

Chameleone’s Gwanga Mujje concert was rescheduled to 24th February after a heavy downpour brought stronger winds that blew the stage down.
